Best Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Cases

Today, we’re going to look at a lot of cases for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The S22 Ultra is a fantastic new camera, and as tough as Samsung has made their phones over the last few years, they are still susceptible to cracks and scratches. I’ve done my best to showcase a nice variety of cases, both in style and cost. You can check out each case using the links throughout this article!

Speck Presidio Grip 2

The first case we’re going to look at is from Spec.

This is the Presidio Grip 2 and it’s one of my favorite cases. I’ve been buying these Presidio Grip cases for ages now and they have yet to let me down. This case is grippy and provides really good protection all the way around the edges. 

It also has a decent amount of face-down protection around the screen as well. One thing I love is that this case sits flat when it’s face up. Phone cases that rock unevenly when laying on the table drive me crazy, so I appreciate the extra stability that this case offers. Overall, every thing about this case is fantastic. iBlason Ares

The next case we’ll look at is the iBlason Ares case.

This is a two piece case with an inner layer and a thicker outer layer. It has see-through protection on the back of the phone and offers very good edge protection. It also has very solid facedown protection as well.

I do like that you can look though this case to see the natural finish of the phone itself. This case is a bit much for me to use personally, but it’s a great case and I do like it quite a bit. Check it out here:

Encased Thin Armor

The next case is a nice minimal case that provides a decent amount of protection all the way around your phone without necessarily getting in the way as much as some other cases might.

The only downside to the simplicity of this case is that it doesn’t provide much grip. Overall, I do like this case. It looks great, feels great, and has good protection as well. Check it out here: https://www.jerad.link/encasedthinarmors22ultra

Clayco Xenon Series

This next case is a bit thicker than the last case we looked at, but it also offers a significant amount of protection.

The Xenon case does have a built in screen protector, which is a nice added bonus. The finger touch ID still works just fine for me through that screen protector.

My phone definitely feels very secure with this case. The one downside I found here is that the access to the port and the S-pen are pretty deep inside the case. This may not be a huge deal, but it means you’ll have to work a little harder to get to your S-pen. Thicker charging cables also may not be able to fit through the cases’ slot for the port as well.

This case is designed more for protection than sleekness or accessibility. So, if protection is your top priority, this may be the case for you. Check it out here:

ESR Metal Kickstand

Our next case has a fairly unique design. It’s a clear silicone case that has a bright metal kickstand built into it.

The kickstand pops out pretty easily and can support your phone both vertically and horizontally. I do like how durable the kickstand feels. Many kickstand cases are built with loose or flimsy plastic, so the metal material here feels more secure and premium.

The rest of the case doesn’t offer a screen protector or much front edge protection. The main reason to purchase this case over another is for the kickstand feature. Check it out here:

VRS Design Glide Pro

This next case is a wallet case, which is pretty cool.

The back of the phone has a sliding door that can open up to reveal a slot for credit cards and cash, in a flashy bright-yellow style. The slide door is spring loaded and feels very stable when you use it. The wallet feature does at a significant amount of thickness to the back of your phone though, so this may not be the best option if you’re looking for more of a minimal sleek case. The bottom of the phone is also quite thick.

The plus side here is that the extra thickness will go a long way in protecting your phone. Check it out here:

Nillkin Camshield

Next up, we have another case with a unique design feature.

This case from Nillken has a sliding door that covers the camera cluster on the back of the camera. There isn’t any cover for the front facing camera, but this may be a great case option for those of you who are more privacy minded. Check it out here:

Hummix Case

The next case has no branding or marking anywhere on it.

It’s incredibly simple and has a nice silicone feel to it. The case sits nice and flat, and has nice edge protection all the way around. Temdan Shockproof

The Temdan Shockproof case is very interesting and enticing because it is completely sealed, making it totally snow proof, water proof, and dust proof.

The case comes in two parts and snaps together to create the seal. It also comes with a little hole in the bottom corner to attach a lanyard to.

The actual case has a transparent back and a built in screen protector. I did find that you’ll need to reprogram your thumb print with this particular screen protector. The one thing that bothered me about this case is the door that covers the port. While this is a great feature to truly waterproof your phone, the thing was almost impossible to open. I ended up needing to pry it open with the tip of my pocket knife. Now, I assume that this will become easier to open the longer you use it, but I still found it quite inconvenient.

Other than that one issue, this is a great case; perfect for those of you who like to get out in the water or in the wilderness and need some extra protection. Check it out here:

Supcase UB Edge Pro

The next case is one of the more popular cases I’ve received.

The Edge Pro series from Supcase has always been fantastic. This is another two-piece case with a screen protector. It’s a thicker case, but its design is more focused on protection than it is style and minimalism. The back of the case is transparent, and the edges have a really nice metallic finish. This case will add a decent amount of size to your phone, but if you’re looking for top-line protection, this is the case for you. Check it out here:

Spigen Tough Armor

Here is another great case with a built in extend on the back. The kickstand is a bit flimsy and it only works in horizontal mode, but it tucks away very simply into the back of the case.

I do really like the way this case feels. It has great grips on the sides that make holding it feel secure and solid. Overall, this is a great case that combines the simplicity of a more minimalistic case with the functionality of the kickstand cases. Check it out here:

Torras Shockproof

The Torras Shockproof case has always been another favorite of mine.

The coolest aspect of this case is that you can replace the buttons on the sides with custom buttons that they provide. The extra buttons they sent me where neon green and neon orange.

The rest of the case is very simple and very minimal, so it’s kind of fun to be able to add some flare to the sides with the buttons. Overall, this case is fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Crave Slim Guard

The final case we’ll look at here is the Crave Slim Guard.

This case has a hard plastic finish on the back. The plastic is textured to add grip. The sides of the case are silicone and are very grippy. The appeal to this case is the hard surface on the back. It’ll add a lot of great protection to the elements where softer cases may scratch and wear. You can check it out here:
