Best Samsung Galaxy S22 Cases

Today we’re going to take a look at cases for the Galaxy S22. This is a new phone here in 2022 and I’ve received a ton of cases already to review. I’ll link to each one so you can check out any cases that catches your eye. We’ve got a lot of cases to cover, so let’s dive right in!

Encased Thin Armor

The first case we’ll look at is the Thin Armor case from Encased. This is a great case with a nice slim fit around the phone. I like this case because it has a little bit of texture to it that adds grip without necessarily making the phone thicker.

The case offers decent protection all the way around the phone and still leaves plenty of open space for the port and the speaker.

We’ll look at other phone cases from Encased further on in this article, but overall, this is a great case for those who prefer a simpler design with a thinner coating. Check it out here:

Supcase UB Edge Pro

The Edge Pro series from Supcase has always been a popular case for people over the years.

This is a two-piece case with an inner liner and then a harder outer edge. This is much thicker than the last case we looked at, but it’s thicker design allows for much greater protection.
The case also comes with a built-in screen protector. You will likely have to reprogram your thumb print to be able to access that feature with the screen protector, but it is still a welcome addition that adds a lot of extra protection to the front of your phone.

The back of the case is transparent so you can still see the beautiful finish of your actual phone, which is nice as well. The sides have more of a metallic finish, which makes the case have more of a premium look to it, in my opinion.

All in all, this is a great case for anyone whose main priority is protection. Check it out here: https://www.jerad.link/supcaseubedgepros22

Speck Presidio Grip 2

This is probably one of my favorite cases, of all the cases I’ve owned. I’ve purchased more of these Spec Presidio Grip series cases than any other case over the last 10 years for various phones.

This is a fantastic case. It’s simple, minimalistic, grippy, and has a really great contact for wireless charging. The style is unobtrusive and has remained pretty consistent over the years. The case has gripping all the way around the sides, which is one of the main reasons I like it. The buttons are nice and pronounced and are easy to access. There is no screen protector, so this may not be the case for you if you’re looking for maximum protection. It does offer decent lip protection for the screen to protect against falling and scratching.

I highly recommend this case to anyone who like a simple, thin design. Check it out here:

Crave Dual Guard

The next case we’ll look at is the Dual Guard case from Crave. This is another simple and thin design.

While the last case had grip areas, this case is textured all over. This makes it feel nice and secure in your hand. I also like the raised protection around the camera module on the back. With this case, you won’t have to be concerned with scratching your camera lenses when you lay the phone on its back. I don’t think this case offers quite as much protection as some of the previous models we’ve looked at, but it’s still a great option if you are wanting an unobtrusive and minimal style. Spigen Liquid Air

Up next, we’ve got the Liquid Air case from Spigen.

This is fairly similar to the Crave Dual Guard case. It’s simple, minimal, and grippy. The entire back of the case is textured in a nice-feeling way and the sides are grooved for extra grip.

It has about the same amount of protection as the last case and has a decent raised camera edge as well. The truth about these really thin cases is that they aren’t going to provide quite as much protection as the thicker options like the Supcase Edge Pro. Still, this is another great option for those who want to keep their phones small and sleek. Check it out here:

Temdan Shockproof Slim

I purchased this case for one specific reason. It comes with a really cool built-in ring on the back of your phone to put your finger through.

The ring feels very solid and secure. The only thing I don’t like is that it clicks as you spin it. This makes me feel like I’m winding up my phone, which I don’t love as much. When you’re not using it, it locks nicely into place and adds a neat metallic design to the back of your phone.

The rest of the case adds about as much protection as the other cases. The only other thing that I don’t love is that the phone doesn’t sit flat when you lay it on its back. It rocks a bit on the ring. This isn’t a huge deal, but it sort of bothers me. Overall though, I’m digging this case, and it’s a great option if you like the ring option! Check it out here:

Supcase UB Pro

Here’s another case from Supcase from their Unicorn Beetle series.

This is the heaviest, thickest, most durable case that we’ll discuss in this article. It comes with a custom belt attachment that you can snap your phone into while you’re not using. This case was made for working people who are out on construction sites and job sites working with their hands a lot.

This case will provide maximum protection. It also has a nice rugged look with a camp design on the back. The corners are very pronounced and will protect against most big falls. It also comes with a kickstand, which is another great feature. The kickstand allows you to prop your phone up both vertically and horizontally.

Overall, this case is the absolute best option for people who want the most amount of protection they can get. Check it out here:

Caseology Parallax

Here’s another thinner case from Caseology.

This has a unique textured design on the back that I kind of like. It has more of a plastic asphalt feel. It’s not scratchy but it is ver grippy. The design of the case is such that it won’t slip around much if you set it on your pant leg or something like that. This is another thin, minimal design, but it offers a bit more protection than some of the other thin cases we’ve looked at. Check it out here:

iBlason Ares

This is another two-piece case with an inner and outer shell. Typically, I opt for the black case options, but iBlason sent me this gray option, which I sort of like.

The case has a downward sloping angle on the sides, which makes me feel like I’m pushing the phone out of my hands as I squeeze it. That is a bit of a negative for me, but this is a great case in general. This case does offer a lot of protection, including a port door for the USB-C port on the bottom of the phone.

Overall, this is another great option for people who value protection and don’t mind a bit of added size to their phone. Check it out here:

JustCool Shockproof

The reason I purchased this case is because it is dirt proof, shock proof, snow proof, and water proof.

It’s a two-piece case that boasts a perfect seal between the inner and outer shell, making it very resistant to any debris that could get on to your phone. You will need to reprogram your thumb print to use it with the screen protector.

The bottom of the phone has a port door that protects and seals the USB-C port. I found that this was quite difficult to open for the first time and ended up needing to use my knife to pry it open.

The seal between the two layers feels very solid, so this case is perfect for anyone who is around water a lot, or out adventuring and needs extra protection against the elements. Check it out here:

iBlason Cosmo

I wanted to add some diversity to this case lineup so I’ve decided to discuss the iBlason Cosmo, which is quite different from the other cases we’ve looked at.

This case is bright, vibrant, and adds a nice pop of color to your phone. The clarity of the design is very impressive and I appreciate the detail that went in to designing it. iBlason has also created a few different designs for this case. So check out the link below to look through them all.

Encased Rebel Series

The last case we’ll look at in this article is another case from Encased called their Rebel Series.

This case is a great in-between between the super thin, minimal designs, and the thick protective designs. It offers a bit better protection than the other Encased design we looked at, but it is just a little thicker as well. It has great grips around the sides and a nice simple design. This is a great case if you want the best of both worlds from thick protective cases and thinner minimal cases. Check it out here:
